Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a frontline assistant to help begin tax interviews, enter client and W-2 information into the tax program, and assist with the closing of interviews by assembling the return for signatures.

You will review the finished product with the client, complete bookkeeping procedures, and help ensure all clients receive superior service while handling additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and perform basic math during interviews.
• Clear communication in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based software.
• Awareness of state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of tax interviews by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Review the finished product with the client and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• All other duties as assigned.
