Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a team member to support tax interviews year after year by entering client and W-2 data, assembling returns, and securing signatures.

You will build relationships, ensure accurate processing, and contribute to a smooth tax experience for every client. Strong basic math and reading skills, plus clear communication, help you succeed in this role.

Previous experience with Windows is helpful, and some state/local requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
• Additional coursework in math, accounting, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education
