Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support tax interview processes and client service at local offices. You’ll input client and W-2 information, assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review completed products with clients.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, thorough bookkeeping steps, and delivering superior service to every client. Training is provided; state/local requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
