Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to assist with the tax interview process. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax program and support the early and closing stages of interviews.

You will assemble returns, obtain signatures, review the finished product with clients, and ensure every client receives superior service. This role also involves completing bookkeeping procedures and handling additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program to start interviews.
• Assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, review with client, and complete bookkeeping.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service.
• Other duties as assigned.
