Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to assist during the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and by assembling the tax return with care.

You will review the finished product with the client, obtain signatures, complete bookkeeping steps, and help ensure every client receives superior service. You may perform additional duties as assigned to support a smooth tax season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program to start the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, and review the finished product with the client.
• Complete bookkeeping procedures as part of the interview close.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
