Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a team helper to assist with the beginning of tax interviews by entering client and W-2 data into the tax software, and to help close interviews by assembling tax returns and obtaining signatures.

You will review the completed return with the client, complete bookkeeping steps, and ensure every client receives superior service while handling additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills to complete tax interview.
• Effective in-person and phone communication.
• Experience using Windows-based programs.
• Additional state/local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist at the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information.
• Assist at interview closing by assembling the tax return and obtaining signatures.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all clients receive superior service and perform other duties as assigned.
