Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an assistant to begin the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program, helping clients feel confident as they start their filing.

You will aid in closing interviews by assembling the tax return, securing signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures, ensuring all clients receive superior service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills are needed to start and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs is preferred.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
