Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to support tax interviews, entering client and W-2 data and helping assemble returns. You will review the finished product with clients and complete bookkeeping steps to ensure high-quality service.

You will assist with early interview steps, ensure client satisfaction, and handle other duties as assigned. This role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and adherence to procedures in a tax-office environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
