Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks an entry-level tax assistant for a franchise office in the United States. You will help begin the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and assist with closing by assembling the return and obtaining signatures.

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain signatures, review the finished product with the client, and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all clients receive superior service.
