Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level Tax Interview Assistant to support client interactions during tax preparation. You’ll enter client and W-2 information, assist with closing the interview, and help ensure accurate, quality outcomes while delivering superior service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, solid basic math and reading skills, and clear communication, plus familiarity with Windows-based programs. Some coursework in math or finance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and basic math skills to complete tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing the product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned
