Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to support tax interviews by entering client and W-2 data, and help assemble the tax return. You will ensure client service remains excellent and assist with closing procedures, including signatures and bookkeeping.

Required are a high school diploma, basic math and reading skills, and comfort with Windows-based programs. Other state/local requirements may apply at the franchise level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills needed to complete the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and bookkeeping.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
