Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level part-time associate to assist with tax interviews, entering client information and W-2 data into our tax program. You will help assemble returns, obtain signatures, review outcomes with clients, and complete bookkeeping tasks as needed.

A strong focus on delivering superior service to every client is essential. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and good reading and math abilities, plus experience with Windows-based programs.

Qualifications

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support tax interview flow by collecting and organizing client data.
• Verify accuracy of tax documents and signatures during closing.
• Provide accurate information and courteous service to clients.
