Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level associate to support the tax interview process and client service. You will enter client and W-2 information, help assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review products with clients while ensuring high standards of service.

Strong basic math and reading skills, plus clear communication, are essential for success during tax interviews and routine bookkeeping tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic reading and math skills needed to start and complete the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
