Job summary

Jackson Hewitt is seeking an Office Manager to oversee staffing, productivity, tax prep work and marketing for multiple offices within an assigned district. You will manage day-to-day operations for seasonal staff across store locations to maximize efficiency and profitability.

In this role you will lead recruiting, monitor performance, approve schedules, coordinate HR matters, and ensure facilities meet company standards while driving revenue and client service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent related business experience.
• Two years’ previous management or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and tax/accounting software.
• PTIN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads recruiting efforts and manages the interviewing process of seasonal employees for assigned area.
• Monitors associate performance to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and procedures.
• Reviews and approves work schedules and timecard approvals; coordinates with HR on issues and training.
• Ensures all locations meet company standards including office setup, technology, and facilities maintenance; maintains relationships with managers.
• Provides guidance to employees in handling difficult problems and escalated disputes.
• Monitors performance and reports for revenue, cash control, and tax return counts in the assigned area.
