Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to join our fast-growing firm. The Tax Manager will oversee tax engagements, supervise staff and senior accountants, and strengthen client relationships to increase profitability.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving and mentoring within a collaborative team. Some positions may be open to remote or hybrid work arrangements depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 3–7+ years in public accounting or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage client engagements from planning to staffing and timing.
• Oversee engagement completion and identify problems with minimal oversight.
• Conduct thorough engagement reviews and mentor staff.
• Perform annual staff evaluations and support performance conversations.
• Assist principals/partners with new client development and opportunities.
