Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.
• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or public/corporate mix.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for training, supervising and ongoing development of associates and seniors.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
• Build impactful relationships with clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership.
• Cultivate expertise in firm niches and needs; ensure accurate time and billing.
• Develop knowledge of client business; meet deadlines and complete tasks.
• Solicit new client relationships and participate in client seminars to expand networking.
• Stay updated on tax laws and apply new knowledge to engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals to coordinate efforts.
