Job summary

Argo Group seeks an Underwriting Assistant to support the Tax Liability team in New York City. This onsite role handles policy maintenance, transaction processing, data research, and related tasks to strengthen underwriting operations.

You will interact with brokers for invoicing and information gathering, and you will prepare binders and policies for review. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of autonomous work in a fast-paced setting, and possess a college degree with strong

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters in core duties to support division performance.
• Keep underwriting files and records accurate and complete.
• Prepare binders and policies for review and approval.
• Communicate with brokers for invoicing and information gathering.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with underwriters, brokers, and business partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
