Job summary

Argo Group, a specialty insurer, seeks an Underwriting Assistant to support the Tax Liability team in New York City. The role includes maintaining policies, processing underwriting transactions, data research, and related tasks, with on-site work five days per week.

You will interact with brokers, assist with invoicing, and help prepare binders and policies while upholding confidentiality and professional ethics. A college degree is required and strong communication skills are essential.

• Maintain accurate underwriting files and records.
• Prepare binders and policies for review and approval.
• Interact with brokers to assist with invoicing and information requests.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with underwriters, brokers, and partners.
• Other duties as assigned.
