This position will provide support and assistance to the overall underwriting function through maintaining policies and procedures, processing underwriting transactions, data research and analysis, and other various tasks, as needed.This role will work onsite 5x per week from our New York City, NY office location.The primary duties and responsibilities of the role are:Assist underwriters in carrying out their essential duties and responsibilities to enhance the overall performance of the division through utilization of systems and guidelines.Maintain accurate and complete underwriting files and records.Prepare binders and policies for underwriters’ review and approval.Interact with brokers to assist with invoicing, follow up for underlying information, subjectivities as well as addressing account inquiries.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with underwriters, brokers and business partners.Other duties as assigned.Core qualifications and requirements for this position include:Responsiveness is key. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
