Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax prep, expert advice, and software support at a local TurboTax location. You will advise clients from personal to business taxes, coordinate with specialists, and help grow the local client base while providing end-to-end, year‑round support.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid tax return preparation experience (30+ federal and state 1040s per season) using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon-Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete required training and wear company uniforms; use name/picture for advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan for future taxes.
• Act as a community ambassador, growing local client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
