Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work on-site in a local TurboTax location across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support while engaging the community and growing a local client base.

You will collaborate with a network of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax solutions, meeting clients where they are and guiding them through complex situations with personalized, clear explanations.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and participate in advertising
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Engage local community and grow the local client base with marketing tools and resources.
• Coordinate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and client-focused service.
