Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Client Support Liaison to join our Core Tax team in San Antonio, TX. You will be the primary contact for clients on non-technical matters, coordinating documents, leveraging engagement tools, and supporting billing and data management.

You will assist managers with tax engagement administration, prepare PBC/open-items and help with e-file processes. Strong communication, proficiency with Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), and the ability to

• High school diploma or GED.
• Related professional experience in client support and administrative workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for clients on non-technical matters, including requesting supporting documentation and following up on signed engagement letters, consents, and e‑file forms.
• Support managers with tax engagement administration, including rolling tax returns in CCH Axcess and Engagement binders and saving documents to Engagement and SharePoint binders.
• Prepare PBC and open-items lists and assist with e‑file rejections, extension workflows, and submission of engagement letters for preparation.
• Coordinate due‑date reporting by scheduling review meetings with managers, analyzing data using PivotTables and VLOOKUP, and creating nonstandard reports as requested.
• Support TaxCaddy account management, monitor and report incoming documents, and move workflows into process based on the percentage of documents received.
