Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks a detail-oriented Client Support Liaison to join our Core Tax team in Austin, TX. You will coordinate non-technical client communications, manage documentation, and support billing, reporting, and data management.

You will assist managers with tax engagement administration, create and review PBC/open-items, and help with e-file workflows. Strong tech skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in client support and administrative workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt schedule to increased workload on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for clients on non-technical matters, requesting documentation and following up on letters and forms.
• Assist with tax engagement administration, rolling tax returns in CCH Axcess and organizing binders.
• Prepare PBC and open-items lists and assist with e-file rejections and extension workflows.
• Coordinate due-date reporting by scheduling review meetings and creating reports.
• Support TaxCaddy account management, monitor documents, and manage workflow progression.
