Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking a Senior Client Support Liaison to support the Core Tax team. You will be the primary contact for clients on non-technical matters, coordinate documents, and support billing and data management.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in client service, strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and the ability to learn new systems. Tax firm experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years in a client service-driven environment; administrative experience.
• Tax firm experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact for non-technical matters, including communications, follow-ups, document requests, and tech support.
• Assist clients with Suralink, TaxCaddy, and SafeSend, ensuring smooth document exchange and access troubleshooting.
• Support Partners and Managers by rolling Axcess Tax Returns, preparing engagement binders, saving documents to Engagement/SP Binders/GFR, and creating new client tax returns in CCH Axcess.
• Request and track signed engagement letters, consents, and e-file forms, and help resolve schema errors and e-file rejections.
• Prepare PBC lists, TEAFs, POAs, WIP reports, and assist with billing processes.
• Identify aging returns, analyze bottlenecks, and assist with due date reporting.
