Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Tax Manager, Digital Tax Solutions to apply industry knowledge and experience to collaborate with clients and team members to implement automation tools in tax workflows. The role includes marketing, networking and business development; overseeing end-to-end engagements from scoping to deployment; and delivering training and documentation during hand-off.

Five+ years in technology or tax systems are required; CPA/EA or related certifications preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, CS, Data Analytics or Technology; graduate degree preferred.
Five+ years of experience with technology or tax systems; ASC 740 tax accounting or income tax experience preferred.
Certification in CPA, EA or similar designation preferred; analytics certifications helpful.

Responsibilities

Lead tax automation projects from scoping to deployment.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design tax automation solutions.
Assess client tax processes and identify opportunities for automation across data, process and technology.
Develop training and documentation for go-live and post-implementation support.
Ensure engagements stay on time and within budget while maintaining quality.
