Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Manager, Digital Tax Solutions to drive tax automation initiatives across client engagements. You will market, network, and manage end-to-end engagements from scoping to deployment, including building training materials and post-implementation support.

The role requires 5+ years in technology or tax systems, strong leadership, and ability to travel 10-25%. A CPA/EA or equivalent certification is preferred, with extensive experience in tax data, processing, and analytics

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of experience with technology or tax systems, required
• CPA, Attorney, or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred
• Leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Qualifies viability of prospective clients or projects and identifies opportunities to expand current business
• May lead planning or project delivery meetings that may include proposal delivery and solutions workshops or training
• Understands work plans for tax consulting projects performed for one's clients and directs staff accordingly
• Drafts clear and compelling proposals and business cases
• Identifies opportunities to streamline internal standards and processes for the practice
• Communicates complex technical items to target audiences so that relevant issues are clearly understood
