Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax preparation and advisory services at a local TurboTax location. You will work with a team to review client tax situations, optimize deductions, and provide a seamless client experience in-person and via video tools.

You will grow the local customer base, participate in community activities, and connect clients to Intuit solutions including bookkeeping, payroll and financial planning, ensuring a year-round support system.

Qualifications

• EA certification or CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hrs/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.
• Completion of required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare returns for TurboTax clients.
• Identify deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan for taxes.
• Engage with customers in person and virtually to deliver end-to-end services.
• Grow local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping and advisory services.
