Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and support for customers in person, building a local client base and strong community presence.

The role emphasizes client growth, knowledge of tax law, and excellent customer service in a front-facing retail environment. Onsite availability includes weekends and 20+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax prep experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, 20+ hours/week, including weekends.
• Willing to build local community presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Willing to work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for taxes.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government sites and professional tools.
• Create exceptional customer experiences and build trust for long-term relationships.
• Engage with customers in-person and via Intuit video tools.
