Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts at one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide tax expertise, complete preparation services, and build a local client base while leveraging Intuit resources to guide clients toward comprehensive financial solutions.

As a TurboTax - Local Service Expert, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize refunds, minimize liabilities, and plan for

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Willingness to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or business tax advisory with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured with name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning.
• Grow local customer base through targeted outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Introduce clients to Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and assist clients in achieving financial goals.
