Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts at Tavernetta Vail is seeking a Host to greet guests and manage seating with knowledge of reservations, menus, and guest preferences. You will respond to inquiries, coordinate seating and reservations, and may work across F&B outlets to uphold a culture of hospitality.

We look for hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fast-paced Food and Beverage environment or related work.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests while coordinating reservations and inquiries.
• Answering the phones, confirming reservations and making new reservations.
• Responding to inquiries and problems in a courteous and professional manner.
• Adaptable to work in other F&B outlets at the property as needed.

Four Seasons Vail and James Beard Award winners Frasca Hospitality Group, led by Chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson, Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey, and Peter Hoglund, have collaborated to create Tavernetta Vail. Part of the Frasca Hospitality Group, home to the Michelin‑starred Frasca Food and Wine, Tavernetta Denver is recognized with a Michelin Bib Gourmand and is known for its genuine hospitality and authentic Italian fare.

The group has expanded to include the Italian and European inspired eateries of Pizzeria Alberico and Sunday Vinyl and seek to continue this dedication to providing warm and gracious hospitality with the opening of Tavernetta Vail at the Four Seasons Resort by hiring enthusiastic, ambitious, and humble staff to uphold a culture of excellence, education, and respect.

About the role:

The Host is the guest’s first impression of the restaurant, with knowledge of seating chart, reservation system, menus, and guest preferences.

What you will do:

• Responsible forgreeting andseatingguests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient,courteousand professional manner to achievemaximumcustomer satisfaction.
• This position will also be responsible for answering the phones, confirming reservations and making new reservations.
• This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient,courteousand professional manner.
• This position must be adaptable as they may be asked to work in any of the F&B outlets at the property as needed.

What you bring:

• Previousexperience in fast paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communicationskills are a necessity.
• Fluency in English is required for this locationand this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
