Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail invites applications for a Restaurant Host on a part-time or full-time seasonal basis. The successful candidate will greet guests, manage seating, answer phones, and coordinate reservations with a welcoming, professional presence.

Fluency in English is required and US work authorization is necessary. Prior experience in a fast-paced Food and Beverage setting is preferred, with the ability to operate computer systems and deliver exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fast-paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Good communication skills required for guest interactions.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and job.
• Applicants must have current US work authorization (Spanish speaking preferred).

Responsibilities

Restaurant Host PT/FT

About the role:

The Host is the guest’s first impression of the restaurant, with knowledge of seating chart, reservation system, menus, and guest preferences.

What you will do:

• Responsible for greeting and seating guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
• This position will also be responsible for answering the phones, confirming reservations and making new reservations.
• This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
• This position must be adaptable as they may be asked to work in any of the F&B outlets at the property as needed.

What you bring:

• Previous experience in fast paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.

Schedule & Hours

• This is a part-time or full-time seaonal position.
• A successful candidate will have the availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
