Job summary

Four Seasons Vail is hiring a Host for Tavernetta Vail. You will greet guests, manage the seating chart, and coordinate reservations and guest preferences to ensure a warm, efficient welcome and a flawless dining experience.

The role requires English fluency, the ability to stand for eight hours, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Prior fast-paced F&B experience and basic computer skills are helpful as you join a team dedicated to hospitality, education, and career development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fast paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish language ability is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests while coordinating reservations and responding to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answering the phones, confirming reservations and creating new reservations.
• Responding to inquiries and problems efficiently and courteously.
• Flexibility to work across F&B outlets as needed.

Four Seasons Vail and James Beard Award winners Frasca Hospitality Group, led by Chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson, Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey, and Peter Hoglund, have collaborated to create Tavernetta Vail. Part of the Frasca Hospitality Group, home to the Michelin-starred Frasca Food and Wine, Tavernetta Denver is recognized with a Michelin Bib Gourmand and is known for its genuine hospitality and authentic Italian fare.

The group has expanded to include the Italian and European inspired eateries of Pizzeria Alberico and Sunday Vinyl and seek to continue this dedication to providing warm and gracious hospitality with the opening of Tavernetta Vail at the Four Seasons Resort by hiring enthusiastic, ambitious, and humble staff to uphold a culture of excellence, education, and respect.

About the role:

The Host is the guest’s first impression of the restaurant, with knowledge of seating chart, reservation system, menus, and guest preferences.

What you will do:

• Responsible for greeting and seating guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
• This position will also be responsible for answering the phones, confirming reservations and making new reservations.
• This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner.
• This position must be adaptable as they may be asked to work in any of the F&B outlets at the property as needed.

What you bring:

• Previous experience in fast paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.

Schedule & Hours

• This is a part-time or full-time position.
• A successful candidate will have the availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
