Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is seeking a Restaurant Host to create the first, lasting impression for guests by welcoming them, guiding seating, and managing reservations with a courteous, professional approach.

The role requires operating a computer, strong communication, and English fluency; Spanish is a plus. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast paced Food and Beverage environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Good communication skills are a necessity.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and job; US work authorization is required; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating guests; coordinate reservations and respond to inquiries efficiently and courteously.
• Answering phones, confirming and creating reservations.
• Responding to inquiries and problems professionally as needed.
• May be asked to work in the various F&B outlets at the property as required.

Restaurant Host PT/FT

About the role:

The Host is the guest’s first impression of the restaurant, with knowledge of seating chart, reservation system, menus, and guest preferences.

What you will do:

• Responsible forgreeting andseatingguests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient,courteousand professional manner to achievemaximumcustomer satisfaction.

• This position will alsobe responsible foranswering the phones, confirmingreservationsand making new reservations.

• This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient,courteousand professional manner.

• This position must be adaptable as they may be asked to work in any of the F&B outlets at the property as needed.

What you bring:

• Previousexperience in fast paced Food and Beverage environment or related work experience

• Ability tooperatecomputer equipment.

• This role has direct contact with guests and as such,good communicationskills are a necessity.

• Fluency in English isrequiredfor thislocationand this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish preferred.

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
