Tasting Room Member

At The Rejoicing Vine, we believe hospitality is about more than serving a great glass of wine. It’s about welcoming people, creating connections, and helping guests slow down, gather together, and enjoy life.

We’re looking for a Tasting Room Team Member to join our small, family-oriented team. This is primarily a weekend position, with consistent Saturday and Sunday shifts from ~12–9 PM and occasional Thursday or Friday evening shifts as needed.

You don't need to be a wine expert. We can teach you about wine. What we can't teach as easily is a genuine heart for people. If you enjoy connecting with others, making people feel welcome, and being part of a team that cares about its guests and its community, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a member of our tasting room team, you'll help create the experience our guests have when they visit The Rejoicing Vine. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming guests and helping them feel at home
• Seating guests and guiding them through their experience
• Taking food and beverage ordersPouring and serving wine
• Making wine cocktails and other beverages
• Preparing and assembling charcuterie boards
• Preparing and cooking menu items such as our panini sandwiches
• Keeping the tasting room, bar, and kitchen clean and organized
• Helping with opening and closing tasks
• Pitching in wherever the team needs you—because we're a small team and everyone helps!

More Than Pouring Wine

We're a small winery, which means we're looking for well-rounded people who enjoy wearing different hats.

If you have skills or interests beyond hospitality, we'd love to put them to use. In particular, we're looking for someone who is interested in marketing and content creation. During slower periods or through additional weekday hours, there may be opportunities to help create social media content, write for our website, assist with email marketing campaigns, photograph or video the winery, and more.

You don't have to be interested in marketing to be successful in this role. But if you are, that's an opportunity for this position to grow with you.

The Physical Side of the Job

This is an active hospitality position. Team members spend much of their shift standing and walking throughout the tasting room, bar, and kitchen. The ability to stand and walk for an 8–10 hour shift and occasionally lift and carry cases of wine and other supplies is required.

Schedule & Compensation

• 8–16 hours per week
• Primarily Saturday & Sunday, 12–9 PM
• Occasional Thursday or Friday evening shifts as needed
• $15/hour + tips with typical total compensation is $20–$25/hour, with some weeks reaching as high as $30/hour with tips
• Must be 21+
