Job summary

Idol Ridge Winery is seeking a Tasting Room Associate to create memorable guest experiences by welcoming visitors, sharing knowledge about our wines and winery, and delivering exceptional service.

You will perform tastings, maintain inventory displays, and keep the tasting room welcoming and clean while representing the winery with professionalism and hospitality. Shared duties include off-site events and accurate sales through POS.

Qualifications

• Friendly people person with a willingness to work hard.
• Customer service experience required.
• Wine knowledge helpful but not required.
• Basic mathematical and computer literacy, including POS system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality customer service experience for guests in the tasting room.
• Perform tastings for winery guests.
• Maintain display of inventory and wine for retail and tasting purposes.
• Keep the tasting room clean and presentable.
• Provide high-quality customer service at off-premises tastings and events.
• Operate the POS/Square system to ensure accurate sales.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver a high-quality customer service experience for guests in the tasting room
• Perform tastings for winery guests
• Maintain appropriate display of inventory and wine for retail and tasting purposes
• Maintain the appearance of the tasting room through general upkeep and housekeeping
• Deliver a high-quality customer service experience at off-premises tastings and events
• Use of the POS/Square system to ensure accurate sales of products
• Perform all duties with the highest standard of quality and cleanliness. Responsible for the Financial Results of the tasting room

Work Schedule:

This position will require you to be available days, nights, weekends, and have the flexibility to work at our other locations when needed, including on- and off-site events.
