Job summary

Beaulieu Vineyard, part of Treasury Wine Estates, in Napa Valley seeks a Part Time Tasting Room Associate with a passion for wine and a strong customer-service mindset. You will set up tastings, host tours, sell wine and clubs, and collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while staying informed about BV wines.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Passionate for wine.
• Sales focused with a hospitality mindset.
• Strong presentation and wine education skills.
• Dynamic communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Professional appearance and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage projects through completion.
• Knowledge of wine, food, and the Napa/Sonoma Hospitality market.
• Available weekends, holidays and some evenings.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and host wine tastings and tours for guests.
• Sell wine, merchandise and wine clubs to meet sales goals.
• Work with team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Provide hospitality that exceeds our guests’ expectations.
• Stay current on Beaulieu Vineyard wines and offerings.
• Be engaged in local wine industry community – know our market.
• Be informed on local hospitality offerings and make recommendations to guests.
• Participate in TWE training programs.
• Strive for WISE triple score sales and service results.
• Open, close and operate cash registers.
• Assist in events, private dinners and various site activities.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and merchandising.
• Follow site policies and procedures including but not limited to: Opening and closing, inventory of merchandise and wine, etc.
• Provide backup support for tastings and tours.
