Job summary

Beaulieu Vineyard is seeking a Part Time Tasting Room Associate to welcome guests, host tastings, and sell wines in a dynamic Napa setting. You will be the friendly first contact for visitors, ensuring a memorable experience while meeting sales goals and staying current on our wine offerings.

You will join Beaulieu Vineyard’s team under The Wine Experience, enjoying hospitality-focused benefits and opportunities to grow within a renowned winery culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Sales focused with a hospitality mindset.
• Knowledge of wine, food, and the Napa/Sonoma Hospitality market.
• Available weekends, holidays and some evenings.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and host wine tastings and tours for guests.
• Sell wine, merchandise and wine clubs to meet sales goals.
• Work with team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Provide hospitality that exceeds our competitors and our guests' expectations.
• Stay current on Beaulieu Vineyard wines and customer offerings.
• Be engaged and active in local wine industry community - know our market.
• Be informed on local hospitality offerings and make recommendations to guests.
• Participate in TWE training programs.
• Strive for WISE triple score sales and service results.
• Open, close and operate cash registers.
• Assist in events, private dinners and various site activities.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and merchandising.
• Follow site policies and procedures including but not limited to: Opening and closing, inventory of merchandise and wine, etc.
• Provide backup support for tastings and tours
