Job summary

Wine Industry Expo is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic part-time tasting room team member to join us at 45 North. This role is guest-facing, delivering a warm, hospitable experience and assisting with wine sales and education.

We offer flexible scheduling, great wine discounts, and a fun work environment. Start mid to late July, with a minimum one shift per week and option up to four. No prior wine knowledge is required—we’ll train you.

Job description

Part-Time Tasting Room Associate

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic part-time tasting room team member to join us at 45 North. This role is customer-facing, so creating and maintaining a warm, welcoming, and hospitable experience for our guests is key. We offer flexible scheduling, a fun work environment, and great discounts on wine! We will be hiring 2-3 team members with a mid to end of July start date.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and hosting guests
• Serving and selling wine
• Educating guests about our wines
• Light food prep and service
• Restocking wine and merchandise
• Keeping the tasting room clean and organized

Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs

Compensation & Schedule:

• Base pay: $12–$14/hour (DOE) + tips + wine club commission
• With tips, team members average $19–$30/hour
• Flexible scheduling
• Minimum commitment of 1 shift per week, with the opportunity to work up to 4 shifts per week

No prior wine knowledge is required—we’ll train you. Serving and customer service experience are a big plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
