Job summary

Martin Family Wineries & Distilleries in Old Forge, NY is seeking a friendly Tasting Room Associate to warmly welcome guests, guide tastings, and share our wine stories in a relaxed setting.

You will handle wine sales, inventory, and maintain the tasting room appearance while supporting events and off-site tastings. Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and at other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Wine knowledge helpful but not required.
• Must be friendly and willing to work hard.
• Basic math and computer literacy including POS.

Purpose of the Job:

The Tasting Room staff is involved in daily operations. Job tasks include but are not limited to wine sales, inventory management, customer service, and general housekeeping/maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

Deliver a high-quality customer service experience for guests in the tasting room

Perform tastings for winery guests

Maintain appropriate display of inventory and wine for retail and tasting purposes

Maintain the appearance of the tasting room through general upkeep and housekeeping

Education/Experience:

Work Schedule: This position will require you to be available days, nights, weekends, and have the flexibility to work at our other locations when needed, including on and off-site events.

Hourly Rate + Tips
