Job summary

Thomas George Estates is a family-owned winery in the Russian River Valley, seeking an energetic Tasting Room Associate to provide exceptional service while leading tastings and hosting estate experiences.

You will educate guests on our wines, vineyards, and winemaking, and help create memorable experiences that drive wine sales and club memberships. The role includes hosting various tastings and assisting with events, reservations, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of winery tasting room or hospitality experience.
• Current California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.
• Passion for wine and exceptional hospitality.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.

• Assist with opening/closing duties, stocking wine and retail items, and maintaining a clean, welcoming tasting room.
• Support winery events and other hospitality needs as assigned.

We are looking for an energetic, hospitality-driven Tasting Room Associate to provide exceptional service while leading wine tastings and hosting estate experiences.

Responsibilities

• Host seated wine tastings and private experiences
• Educate guests on Thomas George Estates wines, vineyards, and winemaking
• Create memorable guest experiences that drive wine sales and wine club memberships
• Host experiences including Estate Tastings, Single Vineyard Tastings, Cave Tastings, Brunches, Bocce & Wine, and special events
• Process sales, reservations, and wine club memberships using Commerce7
• Assist with opening/closing duties, stocking wine and retail items, and maintaining a clean, welcoming tasting room
• Support winery events and other hospitality needs as assigned

Qualifications

• Current California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
• Passion for wine and exceptional hospitality
• Strong communication and sales skills
• Comfortable speaking with individuals and groups
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with Commerce7 or similar POS systems is a plus
