Tasting & Tap Room Expo is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Tasting Room Sales Associate to join the team Thursdays through Mondays. You will welcome guests, guide tastings, share the winery story, and help create memorable experiences for visitors.

We’re looking for a friendly, customer service focused Tasting Room Sales Associate to join our team Thursdays - Mondays. In this role, you’ll be welcoming guest to our winery, guiding guests through tastings, sharing our story, and helping create memorable experiences. High School diploma or GED required. One or more years of experience in the same or similar position in the wine industry preferred.
Fluent in English in both oral and written formats. Multi-lingual preferred. Able to communicate in a professional and effective manner at all times.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Able to understand, follow instructions, and ask clarifying questions when needed. Able to analyze information and make sound decisions/recommendations based on same.
Proficient with point-of-sale and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working in a combination of environments, including the tasting room, a temperature-controlled wine storage area, and outside areas, including an outdoor patio. Employees will be exposed to varying temperatures and conditions when working outdoors. The employee may occasionally work at other locations during special events. The noise level in the work environment is generally low. Events may have a higher noise level.

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, and arms to lift/carry/move/stack, grasp, reach, lower, open, and close. Must be able to accurately operate a POS system, standard office and kitchen equipment, perform various housekeeping duties, read, write, type, smell, taste, see, listen/hear, and speak. The employee is required to stand, move, and walk for prolonged periods of time. The employee must be able to squat, lift, move, carry and stack 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, climb stairs, set up/break down tables, chairs, and umbrellas. The employee may occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch.
