Job summary

Amos Rome Vineyards in Lake Chelan, WA, seeks friendly tasting room staff to educate guests about our AVA, wine making, and tasting room processes. If you enjoy wine and can work well in a busy setting, this role offers daily shifts, team environment, and opportunities to grow with winery events.

Responsibilities include stocking, packaging online orders, and maintaining a clean tasting area, with hourly pay plus tips and performance bonuses; wine merchandise discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Professional and welcoming with exceptional customer service skills
• Interest in wine and experience in tasting rooms preferred
• Be able to lift, bend, walk, stand for long periods of time and carry 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to multi-task and calmly manage a crowded tasting room
• Must obtain a MAST permit prior to first day of employment
• Be honest, reliable, and diligent
• Passion for wine and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Keep a clean work space, work efficiently with your time and be a team player
• Educate tasting room guests on the Lake Chelan AVA, our estate vineyards, our wine-making process, and the wines they will be tasting
• Ensure successful group tastings, events, and weddings on-site at the tasting room and surrounding properties
• Stock wine, merchandise, and supplies daily
• Pack wine shipments as online orders are received
• Perform daily facility housekeeping, including in the tasting room, on the patio and grass grass area, and in the restroom(s)

Amos Rome Vineyards is looking for energetic, motivated, outgoing individuals to staff our tasting room. Experience and familiarity with wine is preferred. Compensation to include tips earned in the tasting room, with potential for bonuses around sales goals and wine club sign-ups.

Terms of Employment/Compensation

Winery is open daily from 11p-5p with most shifts from 10a-6p; other events possible outside tasting room hours
