Job summary

Palisociety is seeking a Task Force Front Desk Manager to provide on-site leadership across a portfolio of hotels in the Southern California region. The role includes stepping in to lead front desk operations, cover absences, and manage high-occupancy periods and events.

Responsibilities include overseeing check-in/out, reservations, folio and night audit, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and brand standards while coordinating with property leadership. Travel among sites is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a hotel front office leadership role (e.g., Front Office Manager, Guest Services Manager).
• Ability to direct, train, and hold staff accountable in a multi-property environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly among properties across Southern California.
• Strong working knowledge of front office systems (PMS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct front desk operations at assigned hotels across the Southern California portfolio, stepping in as on-site manager during callouts, vacancies, or leadership gaps.
• Serve as the ranking front desk leader on-site when covering a property, making staffing and service decisions.
• Oversee check-in/check-out, reservations, folio and payment handling, and night audit processes.
• Evaluate SOPs, brand standards, and local policies; ensure adherence across properties.
