Job summary

Palisociety is seeking a Task Force Housekeeping Manager to provide on-site leadership across a portfolio of Southern California hotels. You will own the department on-site, supervise staff, manage scheduling, and ensure top-tier cleanliness and service during high-occupancy periods, group check-ins, and renovations.

The role requires at least 2 years in a hotel housekeeping leadership position, strong training skills, and proficiency with PMS systems like Opera or Mews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a hotel housekeeping leadership or supervisory role within branded or multi-property environments.
• Experience directing, training, and holding staff accountable, with ability to lead a team you do not manage daily.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, standards, and inspection processes, including PMS room-status management.
• Excellent organization and time management across multiple locations, with travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Step in as acting housekeeping leader at assigned properties, owning staffing, scheduling, service recovery and team direction.
• Run daily housekeeping operations: assign and inspect rooms, manage room status and boards across PMS; coordinate with front desk.
• Learn each property's SOPs and brand standards; lead cleanliness, safety and lost-and-found procedures.
• Serve as a certified Brand Ambassador, keeping expectations consistent across properties.
• Onboard and train new associates where no on-site trainer exists; roll out new standards and processes.
• Keep leadership informed on scheduling, availability and outcomes with recommendations.
