Job summary

GHJ is seeking an accomplished transaction advisory professional with deep Private Equity relationships to accelerate growth of our buy-side TAS practice.

The successful candidate will originate buy-side diligence engagements, expand sponsor relationships, and strengthen GHJ’s presence within the Private Equity community, reporting to the TAS Practice Leader and collaborating with firm leadership to shape GHJ’s PE growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to originate TAS engagements through direct relationships with middle-market Private Equity firms.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading or advising on Private Equity TAS engagements.
• CPA or other relevant professional designations are strongly preferred.
• Ability to mentor and develop teams while driving growth across service lines.

Responsibilities

• Drive measurable growth through self-originations and relationship development within TAS.
• Lead Private Equity-sponsored financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings engagements.
• Expand GHJ’s visibility and reputation within the Private Equity community via conferences and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with M&A Tax and other advisory teams on tax diligence and deal execution.
• Provide leadership and coaching to engagement teams and manage client communications.
• Deliver high-quality insights and recommendations to support negotiations and value creation.
