Job summary

The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is seeking a team member to support food service operations across multiple locations. You will assist with serving, clearing, cleaning, and restocking, while delivering the Five Star Experience to guests and fellow team members.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and following safety and internal control standards. This role requires reading and following simple instructions, basic math, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
• Deliver our Five Star Experience by embodying the Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards.
• Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.
• Wipes table tops and chairs with damp cloth.
• Replaces soiled table linens and sets tables with silverware and glassware.
• Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room buffet.
• Supplies service bar with food such as soups, salads and desserts.
• Serves ice water and butter to patrons.
• Cleans and polishes glass shelves and doors of service bars equipment.
