Job summary

Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is seeking a friendly cashier/host to serve guests dining at Spotlight 29 and Tortoise Rock Casino. You will handle cash, credit, and comps while providing Five Star guest service across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include processing charges, reconciling daily reports, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting Players Club benefits. A professional appearance and reliable attendance are required, with willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service to guests and other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
• Deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and Team Members by embodying our Mission Statement and Service Promise.
• Exhibit a professional appearance and maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform assigned cashier duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Count and verify all cash exchanges to outlets servers and guests.
• Process guest charges including credit cards, comps, discounts and cash payments.
• Reconcile and complete all required daily reports.
• Make change or exchange for internal customers (team members).
• Assist in the preparation of daily bank deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant and work stations.
• Follow all Spotlight 29 and Tortoise Rock Casino policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain appearance standards as outlined in policies.
• Provide information about Players Club 29 Benefits and promotions.
• Provide courteous service to all Team Members and Guests.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Maintain a regular attendance record.
• Comply with MICS and TICS standards.
• Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to guests and vendors.
• Attend scheduled safety meetings and training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
