Job summary

Rhinegeist Brewery in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Bar Shift Lead to join our energetic sales team. You will supervise bar staff, ensure exceptional guest service, manage orders and cash, and help set up and close the taproom for weekly events.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in hospitality, knowledge of beer styles, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. This role offers opportunities to grow within a lively craft brewery environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of beer styles and brewing process.
• Ability to work weekdays.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up & break down of bars and taproom guest areas.
• Provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service to guests.
• Accurately manage guest orders, tabs, and cash sales.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Taproom AV systems and setup.
• Daily money management including safe counting and audits at shift end.
• Work as a bartender when scheduled.
• Maintain/Ensure taproom BOH areas are clean and safe.
• Stock kegs, liquor and dry goods; assist with cocktail batching.
