Job summary

Rhinegeist Brewery is seeking a Packaging Technician (2nd Shift) in Cincinnati, OH. You will assist in safe cleaning, sanitation, and operation of all packaging lines including canning, kegging, and bottling, while supporting maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.

The role requires forklift certification or willingness to obtain, ability to lift up to 165 lbs, and the stamina to stand for long periods. A strong team mindset and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 165 lbs occasionally.
• Stand for up to 8 hours during shift.
• Experience with automated manufacturing is a plus.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot brewery packaging equipment.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure product integrity.
• Coordinate with Packaging Management and Maintenance on issues.
• Sanitize packaging equipment and surrounding areas.
• Maintain a tidy, organized production environment.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA regulations for forklift use and handling chemicals.
• Support shifts as needed and assist with all packaging tasks.
• Adhere to FIFO and shipping procedures for outbound orders.
