Job summary

SPN Solutions seeks a Transition Assistance Program and IT Support Specialist to keep the MacDill Air Force Base Military and Family Readiness Center running smoothly. This full-time, on-site Tampa role covers class setup, data entry, and hands-on IT support for staff and veterans.

You will manage laptops, Wi‑Fi, printers, and AV, enter records in Air Force tracking systems and Teams/SharePoint, schedule classes, and respond to tickets while maintaining security and privacy.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of admin, data entry and IT support.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills: Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support TAP classes: check-in, room setup, rosters, and AV for virtual delivery.
• Enter and update data in Air Force tracking system and in Teams/SharePoint; scan and upload documents.
• Schedule classes, respond to program emails, check status, and update records.
• Keep laptops, software updates, Wi-Fi, printers, and hardware working and accounted for.
• Run the Center's Wi‑Fi: accounts, access points, firmware updates, coverage.
• Keep classroom AV ready and troubleshoot printers, scanners and projectors.
• Assist staff with Teams, shared drives, permissions, and raise base IT tickets.
• Handle IT support tickets and document actions.
• Draft correspondence and train staff on equipment and software; maintain records per Air Force rules.
• Suggest equipment and supply needs and keep reorder lists current.
